Over twenty years of touring theatre
Eyewitness has toured mainstream theatre since 1985, both at home and abroad, and has developed a unique brand of performance that has won International acclaim - being the only British theatre company ever to win an award at the prestigious PRIX ITALIA in Rome in 1990. The company is a four times winner of the International Theatre Festival.

As a response to the 1989 Children Act, Eyewitness was invited to deploy drama to explore a wide range of often sensitive Child Protection issues. Since then our aim has been to deliver understanding of current legislation and protocols from a multi-agency perspective - to encourage professionals to work together to promote children's welfare and safeguard them from abuse and neglect.

Eyewitness has attained its solid reputation largely owing to the skill and integrity of its writing staff. Our scriptwriters have over fifty years of Nursing and/or Social Work experience behind them. They work closely with Trainers to ensure that scipts are relevant, site specific and entertaining.

We are proficient at writing and producing videos, audio cassettes, CD ROMs and all online facilities for training purposes, and have substantial experience in video production for NHS and Social Services clients, from script to final edit.
